Let's try to answer some of the most common questions you might have.
What does Fitted Tech actually do?
Three things. We build and host custom Website Development plans (design + dev + maintenance for a flat monthly fee), we run flat-fee Managed IT Contracts that act as your outsourced IT department, and we sell senior Hourly Consulting for one-off projects and second opinions. We don't do home/residential IT or computer-store-style repairs.
Where are you based and who do you serve?
We're headquartered in North Bend, WA. We serve businesses on-site across King County (Snoqualmie Valley, Issaquah, Bellevue, Redmond, Seattle, and surrounding areas) and remote-first clients across the United States.
How big does my company need to be?
Website Development plans start at $69.99/mo and are sized for solo operators all the way up. Managed IT Contracts are sized for teams as small as 3–10 people and scale up. If you have one person and a one-time problem, hourly consulting is usually the right fit.
Do you offer a free initial consultation?
Yes. Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute call so we can understand your environment, what's working, and what isn't — before we propose anything.
How are contracts structured?
Website plans have a 3 / 6 / 12-month minimum depending on the tier, then are month-to-month. Managed IT Contracts have a 90-day initial term so we can stand things up properly, then are month-to-month. No multi-year lock-in, no auto-renew gotchas.
Do you provide remote support?
Yes. Most issues are resolved remotely via secure remote access. We dispatch on-site within King County for hardware, network installs, or anything that needs hands.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card, ACH, or invoiced terms for established clients. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance; hourly engagements are invoiced monthly in arrears.
What if my needs are bigger than your largest tier?
That's what our Enterprise tier (Managed IT) and custom website builds are for. We custom-build the program — SLA, dedicated lead engineer, and a strategic roadmap that fits your business.
Service and Product Questions
These might be a little trickier... but let's give it a shot!
What's included in a Website Development plan?
All three tiers include custom-designed pages (no templates), monthly dev/maintenance hours, hosting, SSL, daily backups, visitor analytics, and direct support. Higher tiers add dynamic pages, third-party integrations (CRM, scheduling, payments), more dev hours, and full SEO.
Can you take over my existing website?
Yes — that's a common starting point. We migrate your site (or rebuild it on a modern stack), bring it onto our hosting, fix the design and SEO debt, and from then on it's covered under one of our monthly plans. No surprise rebuild invoices.
What's covered under a Managed IT Contract?
Helpdesk and end-user support, endpoint monitoring and patch management, security baseline (MFA, EDR, email security), Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace administration, backup management, and a quarterly business review. The Growth and Enterprise tiers add on-site visits, vendor management, advanced security, compliance prep, and dedicated engineering hours.
How does Hourly Consulting work?
You can buy a single hour ($150), a 10-hour block at a discount ($125/hr, hours never expire), or a 40-hour monthly retainer at our best rate ($100/hr). Same senior engineer either way. We track time in 15-minute increments after the first hour.
Can I switch between hourly and a contract?
Yes. Many clients start with hourly consulting (often a 10-hour block) and convert to a contract once we've stabilized their environment. Unused block hours can be credited toward the first month of a website plan or IT contract.
Do you handle cybersecurity and compliance?
Yes. We deploy MFA, endpoint protection, email security, phishing simulations, and security awareness training. For regulated industries, we help prepare for HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2 — including documentation, controls, and auditor coordination.
Do you do hardware and networks?
We design, install, and maintain office networks (wired, wireless, VPN, SD-WAN), procure and configure laptops/desktops/servers, and manage the lifecycle. We do not run a walk-in repair counter — hardware work is part of business engagements.
Can you build custom software, not just websites?
Yes — through Hourly Consulting or as a custom add-on to a website plan. Our background is enterprise software, so we build internal tools, automate business processes, integrate APIs, and modernize legacy stacks.
What's your response time?
Website plans: same-business-day response on standard requests. Foundation IT contract: same-business-day standard, 4-hour critical. Growth: 4-hour standard, 1-hour critical. Enterprise: custom SLA with 24/7 critical-incident response. Hourly consulting is scheduled — typically within 2 business days, faster for retainer clients.
Do you support Mac and Windows? Linux? Mobile?
All of the above. Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, plus the SaaS layer that runs on top of them.
What if we already have IT and just need help on a specific project?
Hourly consulting is built for exactly that. We work alongside in-house IT for migrations, security reviews, network redesigns, audits, and second opinions — no contract required.
How do I get started?
Call (206) 651-4296 or use the contact form. We'll set up a free 30-minute call, learn what you have, and propose the right starting point — a website plan, IT contract, block of hours, or just a single conversation.
